Muhammad the Messenger, may Allah grant him perfect peace, once reported:
One of the people of Paradise will be brought forward, and Allah the Exalted will say:
O child of Adam, do you approve of the dwelling I have bestowed upon you?
The blessed soul will reply: "O Lord, this is the most sublime of dwellings."
Bring forth the desires of your heart and make supplication to Me.
"I ask You to send me back to earth so that I can die ten times over in Your Way of love and self-sacrifice." The soul will make this request because of tasting in Paradise the unique Divine Blessing accorded to the martyrs.
(Hadith Qudsi)
