Ibn Arabi (Mishkat al-Anwar): Bring Your Heart and Body into Peace and Harmony
_____________________________
Allah the Exalted proclaims:
O children of Adam, if you are truly pleased with the life-experience I have decreed for you, this will bring your heart and your body into peace and harmony and you will become praiseworthy. If you are not satisfied with your portion, I will subject you to this earthly world so completely that you will run back and forth like a wild animal deep in the desert. I swear by My Omnipotence and by My Majesty, you can gain nothing more beautiful than what I have already decreed for you. To ignore this would be blameworthy.
(This khabar was transmitted through the sage Ka'b al-Ahbar and is recorded in Ibn Arabi's Mishkat al-Anwar)
