Allah the Sublime and Magnificent proclaims:

O children of Adam, I created your physical forms from dust and sperm, and this creation was effortless. What difficulty can there be for Me to bring the bread of your sustenance before you at the proper moment?

(This khabar was transmitted through the sage Ka'b al-Ahbar and is recorded in Ibn Arabi's Mishkat al-Anwar)

Description:

The traditional Islamic universe is replete with angels who perform various functions according to God's command, and the Qur'an and Hadith speak often of angels and their roles. At a time when interest in angels is again aroused in the West, this book - which speaks with traditional authority and clarity - is a welcome and happy addition to the discussion!
