Framed Art Panel | Masjid Al Aqsa, Masjid An-Nabawi & The Holy Ka'aba

€95,00

Description of Panel Portraying Islam's Three Holy Sites

A reproduction art panel of an original certificate that was printed on lithograph paper and was issued to Sheikh Abbas Kararah, a well-known Egyptian dentist and surgeon. Sheikh Abbas opened the first dental clinic in Mecca and wrote many books on Islam, the Hajj, Islamic law, and the history of the Haramain.

Surrounded by an arabesque floral frame, the top central band contains the Basmalah. To the right of the band, in a circle, is a calligraphed 'Allah' and to the left, 'Muhammad'. Scripted underneath the Basmalah, in the long band, is the beginning of the following hadith from Sahih Muslim (1397a):

'Allah's Messenger said: 'A mount is not saddled (for a journey) except to three mosques'

On the three short white bands below is the continuation of the hadith:

The Mosque of Al-Haram, this mosque of mine, and the Mosque Al-Aqsa.

In the four circles between the naming of the three mosques are written the names of the four companions: Abu Bakr, Omar, Othman and Ali.

On the image of the Holy Ka'aba is the Quranic verse (3:97):

Verily the first sanctuary established for men is the house at Baca, a blessed place and a guidance for all the world.

The image of Masjid an-Nabawi contain the following phrases:

We sent thee not save as a mercy for the worlds.
(Quran, 21:07)

and:

That which exists between my house and my pulpit is a garden from the gardens of Paradise.
(Hadith cited Sahih Muslim: 1391)

The image of Masjid al-Aqsa contains the following Quranic verse (17:1):

Glory be to Him who took His slave by night from the inviolable Mosque unto that furthest Mosque
